A Dream Born in a Garage
In 2013, Sal turned that dream into reality by founding Global Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. in San Diego. But the story began long before, rooted in the expertise of Sal’s father, Sam, an HVAC technician with over 25 years of experience before immigrating to the U.S. Sam passed down his deep knowledge of heating and cooling to his son, shaping Sal’s lifelong passion for the trade.
As a young boy, while other kids played games, Sal was in the field with his dad, learning the ins and outs of HVAC systems. He later trained at an American company, blending formal education with hands-on mentorship from Sam. By age 18, Sal was confidently handling service and repairs on his own.
